A Wedding To Remember

On Friday my mom, Jon, and I attended a wedding. It was the wedding of Q and U. Meaning the letters Q and U cause you know their meant to be together. Peyton's class had the wedding on Friday, which is really just a fun way of teaching the kids that Q and U are always together in words. All the boys were Us and all the girls were Qs. Peyton actually had two Qs with him (but we won't go into what having two brides means)! Here are the happy couple(s).Peyton and Emily

Peyton and TaylorAnd what's a wedding without a little dancing? Here's Peyton and Reid breaking it down to the cowboy song. Can't you just see this group at a real wedding in about 20 years?

My First Beauty Experience

She's a girl, I couldn't just call it her first haircut. Although, I'm not sure "beauty experience" is really the title I'm looking for. Anyway, Wednesday afternoon Rylee got her first haircut. She was needing it . . .badly. The mullet-look just wasn't doing her justice. So Ms. Lisa at Cut N' Up did her up right and she was pretty perfect.

It's still a work in progress but she is pretty cute isn't she?

Our Little Speckled Perch

Well, an update to the Super Pox Post. Rylee still has the chicken pox (and yes that means she has had them almost a month.) When I wrote the post I had no idea just how "super" they would be.

I'm home with her today which is giving me a chance to work on her application to the Guiness Book of World Records for the longest case of the chicken pox. . .ever.

I think she is enjoying staying home and becoming S-P-O-I-L-E-D Rotten! Poor, poor Ms. Christine. When she returns to school it is going to be rough. . .for everyone involved. Really, in all seriousness we are very blessed and thankful to have wonderful family and friends who have been praying for her. And a wonderful doctor, Dr. D. who put her on medicine that has finally helped her "turn the corner" so to speak, and even called yesterday, on a Sunday afternoon, to check on her.
She doesn't really look sick does she?
